The Honorable Ronald B. Adrine, Cleveland Municipal Court, Retired (36 years on the bench)
“I know how hard it is to get information on judicial races, but don’t just vote for a familiar name! The race for Ohio Chief Justice requires scholarship. As a retired judge, I know the difference the Chief Justice makes in the system’s direction. Make it your business to find out! Then vote to protect your rights and values. Vote Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice!”

The Honorable Nadine Allen, Hamilton County Common Pleas, Hamilton County Municipal Court, Retire(30 years on the bench)
“Maybe you didn’t catch it, but during the past year, repeated efforts to redistrict Ohio’s voters violated the constitutional principle of one woman, one man, one vote. A bipartisan slim majority on the Ohio Supreme Court stopped those maps from taking effect right away. But that majority is in jeopardy this November. That’s why I’m voting for Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice. How about you?”

The Honorable Patricia Ann Blackmon, Eighth District Court of Appeals in Cleveland, Retired (30 years on the bench)
“This year, we the people of Ohio will choose a new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Justice Jennifer Brunner is my choice for Chief Justice. She will follow the Constitutions of the United States and of Ohio and adhere to The Rule of Law. It is my view that Justice Brunner’s personal opinions and beliefs will not be a replacement for the Rule of Law. She will make the correct and difficult decisions. We should be proud that we have a system of justice that has withstood the test of time. Let us stand on the shoulders of those who fought for our nation. I encourage you to vote for Justice Brunner for Chief Justice.”

The Honorable Eric Brown, former Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, Franklin County Probate Court, Franklin County Municipal Court, Retired
“As a former Ohio Chief Justice, I know that Jennifer Brunner is the right person to serve as Ohio’s next Chief. She is fair, impartial, independent, and courageous. She has the right legal and administrative experience, common sense, and vision to lead Ohio’s courts. She has integrity and works hard. She knows the Rule of Law must prevail over politics. Please, join me and vote for Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice!”

The Honorable Dale Chase, Medina Municipal Court, Retired (30 years on the bench)
“Don't let a familiar judicial name fool you! This year, the race for Ohio Chief Justice requires more diligence than that. As a retired judge, I know the difference the Chief Justice makes to the quality of the judicial system. Please review each candidate and then vote to protect our rights and values. Vote Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice!”

The Honorable Stuart K. Friedman, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Retired (32 years on the bench)
“This year, Ohio chooses a new Chief Justice to lead our judicial system.  We need a Chief Justice who respects our privacy and has common sense--a Chief Justice who knows that what Ohioans really value is quiet decency, honesty, fairness, and hard work. That new leader is Justice Jennifer Brunner.”

The Honorable Jeffrey Froelich, Second District Court of Appeals, Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, Retired (42 years on the bench)
If you check their websites, you’ll find that only one candidate for Chief Justice of Ohio’s Supreme Court is endorsed by groups who are committed to protecting a woman’s constitutional right to make decisions about her own body. As a retired judge, I’m going to vote for that candidate, Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. She’ll uphold constitutional rights, not abridge them.

The Honorable Rosemary Grdina Gold, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, Division of Domestic Relations, Retired (10 years on the bench)
“The judiciary needs a leader who is ready, willing, and able to go to work every day to protect our families and our rights; we need a Chief Justice with a vision for the courts; One who will protect our right to decide what’s in our best interests; A Chief Justice who is fiercely independent, fair and impartial; We need Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice.”

The Honorable Barbara Gorman, Montgomery County Common Pleas Court General Division, Retired (33 years on the bench)
“Ohio’s next Chief Justice will need to understand not just the difference between judicial activism and judicial restraint, but also how to use the power of the office of Chief Justice to improve the administration of justice statewide. Having had the privilege of working with a few Chief Justices, I know that the best of them place progress over politics. That’s why Justice Jennifer Brunner will get my vote.”

The Honorable Burt Griffin, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Retired (30 years on the bench)
“If you are not informed about a judicial race, get informed.  This year the risk is too great to base your precious vote just on a name you recognize.  As a retired Ohio judge with 30 years of experience, I know the difference a Chief Justice can make.  Justice Jennifer Brunner has outstanding qualities for office.  She deserves your vote and mine for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.”
